GIX is an open regional Internet Exchange in Gothenburg, Sweden based on FastEthernet and Gigabit Ethernet technology. It offers free connectivity amongst Internet Service Providers, Content Providers and other parties with their own AS.

The GIX is present at Slakthusgatan 5 in Gothenburg.
Each party will have to cover their own costs, however GIX does not charge any fee for the connection.

The staff of GIX may refuse connectivity to any party as it sees fit.
